T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon Deploys Reddish Display Fix Updates for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

Samsung has finally confirmed that it would release an update to address the complaints of Galaxy S8 and S8+ users about the noticeable red-tinted displays on their devices.

Recently,  all major US carriers Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile has just started deploying the said updates that brings fixes to the reddish display issues.

For T-Mobile and AT&T Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus owners should keep an eye out for an update that bumps to version G950USQU1AQDE for the Galaxy S8, and version G955USQU1AQDE for the Galaxy S8 plus. On the other hand, Verizon Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus owners will also receive an update to NRD90M.G950USQU1AQDF (for S8), and NRD90M.G955USQU1AQDF (for S8plus).

The Verizon and T-Mobile update offers also improvements to  color optimization and convenient color adjustments, WiFI connectivity and stability have been improved, and the the stability of SMS has been improved. While AT&T  brings an update to color balance display settings, Force Close fix for Data Quality Assessment (DQA) error pop-up, 5G Access Point (AP) Wi-Fi compatibility fix, and Bixby button key short press timing change.

These updates are now available and has been rolling out Over-The-Air (OTA).  The update files size weighs at around 480MB  for each carriers Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus devices.

Samsung launches Galaxy S8 and S8+

Samsung is targeting that both  Galaxy S8 and S8+ plus could sell as many as 53 million this year. The company also expects that the S8 could cover it losses following the Note 7 recall last year, and it could outsell its predecessor Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and S7 edge plus of which sold fewer than 50 million in 2016.
