International Galaxy S8/S8+ Receiving Auto brightness control and PC connection Improvements

The international variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) and Galaxy S8 plus (SM-G955F) has gotten a new firmware update this month.  The update landed on Galaxy S8 as version G950FXXU1AQH3 and G950FXXU1AQI7,  while the Galaxy S8+ received the version G950FXXU1AQH3 and G955FXXU1AQI7.

According to the changelog addressed by Samsung, the update includes the the Auto brightness control, and PC connection stability improvements. While the rest is the usual monthly security patch of which now covers the month of August 2017.

This Android firmware update have been rolling out via Over-The-Air and through Samsung Smart Switch for PC. It has been hitting first in England and select countries in Europe, then followed by those Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners in  Australia, New Zealand, Africa, Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.

Samsung launches Galaxy S8 and S8+

Samsung is targeting that both  Galaxy S8 and S8+ plus could sell as many as 53 million this year. The company also expects that the S8 could cover it losses following the Note 7 recall last year, and it could outsell its predecessor Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and S7 edge plus of which sold fewer than 50 million in 2016.
