Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ November Security Updates G950F/G955F U1AQK7

Samsung has started rolling out the November security updates for international variant of  Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) and Galaxy S8+ (SM-G955F). An update weighing at 526MB is now making it rounds in select European countries, but it will also reaches out to all Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+  owners across Europe, Latin America, New Zealand, Middle East, and Africa this week.

The November security patch also includes the Blueborne patches, as well as the KRACK WiFi Vulnerability fix. It’s a safety precautions patches that  prevents any exploitation that might occurs in the near future, but as of now it hasn't reported that have been breach yet so far.

This update will be hitting both the factory unlocked and carrier branded Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. So no matter which carrier your device have, it will definitely receive the said update.

Samsung launches Galaxy S8 and S8+

Samsung is targeting that both  Galaxy S8 and S8+ plus could sell as many as 53 million this year. The company also expects that the S8 could cover it losses following the Note 7 recall last year, and it could outsell its predecessor Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and S7 edge plus of which sold fewer than 50 million in 2016.
