T-Mobile Galaxy S8/S8+ Receiving October Security Updates

T-Mobile has started rolling out the October security updates for Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ owners.  Along with the update are various system improvements of which will enhanced the device performance and stability.

The T-Mobile Galaxy S8 current Android 7.0 Nougat will move its baseband version to G950USQU1AQJ8, and the baseband version for the Galaxy S8+ is G955USQU1AQJ8.

The said update is heading its way via Firmware Over-The-Air (OTA) and Samsung Smart Switch. And now making it rounds to all T-Mobile Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ owners across the United States.  Each update weighs at 400 MB in file size, just simply go to your device  Settings > About phone > System updates if you haven't received the notification message yet.

Samsung launches Galaxy S8 and S8+

Samsung is targeting that both  Galaxy S8 and S8+ plus could sell as many as 53 million this year. The company also expects that the S8 could cover it losses following the Note 7 recall last year, and it could outsell its predecessor Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and S7 edge plus of which sold fewer than 50 million in 2016.
