Verizon Galaxy S8 and S8+ Gets Fixes Updates for Dropping Calls Problem

Reports said that last months updates for Verizon Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 plus owners that brings the "KRACK WiFI Vulnerability fix has cause some issues of unwanted dropping phone calls. Today, the US big red has  launched another update to address the said problem, and cleaning up the remaining bugs that has been found.

The update hasn't contain the November security patch but still remains in October security patch level. However, it moves the  baseband version to G950USQU1AQK3 for the Galaxy S8, while the Galaxy S*+ also bumps to baseband version G955USQU1AQK3.

The update is currently seeded via Firmware Over-The-Air (OTA) and through Verizon software update assistant.  If you haven't received the notification message yet, just simply go to your device  Settings > About phone > System updates to check the update manually,

Samsung launches Galaxy S8 and S8+

Samsung is targeting that both  Galaxy S8 and S8+ plus could sell as many as 53 million this year. The company also expects that the S8 could cover it losses following the Note 7 recall last year, and it could outsell its predecessor Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and S7 edge plus of which sold fewer than 50 million in 2016.
