AT&T Galaxy S8 and S8+ Last and Final Android Nougat Updates

Now that the Android Oreo updates will be heading its way to all Snapdragon Galaxy S8 and S8+ before this month ends. AT&T has just also released its last and final Android Nougat update for their own Galaxy S8 and S8+. This is the same update that has been making its rounds to T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon S8 and S8+ last week. The update that brings nonetheless the monthly Android security patch update, of which covered the month of February 2018 fixes.

The Galaxy S8 gets an OTA update with build version G950USQS2BRB1, while the Galaxy S8+ will also get the baseband version G955USQS2BRB1. Its only a small OTA update so it does not bother to keep your device fully updated with the latest security patch.


This may not be the much anticipated Android Oreo update yet, but in the meantime, you may install the latest security patch by navigating your device Settings -> About phone -> Software updates -> Check for updates

Samsung launches Galaxy S8 and S8+

Samsung is targeting that both  Galaxy S8 and S8+ plus could sell as many as 53 million this year. The company also expects that the S8 could cover it losses following the Note 7 recall last year, and it could outsell its predecessor Galaxy S7, S7 edge, and S7 edge plus of which sold fewer than 50 million in 2016.
